Dave Biro
Creative Director
During his career as an advertising creative director, millions laughed at Dave Biro’s funny radio ads, like his Folger’s Coffee farce, “Amaretta Anisetta Alberghetta.” New York socialites enjoyed Dave’s rich baritone from his days as a lead singer-guitarist fronting society orchestras at televised soirees. Teens know him for his Rock-n’-Roll and Hip-Hop radio jingles deglamorizing smoking. And toddlers loved Dave’s medley, “The Cradle Will Rock” (and Mambo and Rap and Swing and March…).
Charlotte Gilbert-Biro
Producer and Promoter
Charlotte has more than 30 years of public relations experience in financial services and book publishing. She is a former media relations VP at The New York Stock Exchange, Doubleday, The Putnam Publishing Group, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Now she is applying her expertise to create, produce, and promote joint projects with her singer-writer husband, Dave, including a charitable one, “The Operatic Adventures of the Greyhound, Flea-garo!” Always an advocate and contributor to animal causes, Charlotte is passionate about saving animals from abuse. Though too squeamish to follow her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian, she finds other ways to help her four-legged friends: pro bono PR for animal causes, rescuing greyhounds as well as mixed-breeds, and now by donating proceeds from this new CD to greyhound rescue.
